MEET CLARKE BOWMAN
A firefighter and passionate self-taught photographer of 20+ years, born and raised in Pompano Beach, Florida.
As a true local, Clarke's lens captures the unique beauty of South Florida, the Florida Keys, and the Caribbean. Clarke's colorful images transport you to the heart of each location.
With FAA Part 107 certification, Clarke's drone takes flight, offering bird's-eye views of stunning locations and lighthouses, and with his underwater housing, Clarke showcases mesmerizing scenes of marine life, sportfish, coral reefs, and the wonders beneath the ocean and the waves.
When Clarke is not taking photographs, you can most likely find him on a boat or a beach fishing or exploring the outdoors with his wife Brittany, family, friends, and his golden retrievers.

PAST EVENTS & GALLERIES
2026 DEERFIELD BEACH ART STROLL! FEB 14 & 15, 2026
I had a booth at the 3rd Annual 2026 Deerfield Beach Art Stroll on February 14 & 15, 2026, located just south of Deerfield Pier with the backdrop of ocean breezes and the deep blue sea.
It was a great event, and it was so nice to meet some new faces outside of Pompano!
It's also very cool that the location was here, as I have taken quite a few of my sea turtle photos around Deerfield Pier and that ocean stretch between the pier and Hillsboro Inlet.
This was my first time at this event, can't wait for next year's!

Pompano Beach Nautical Flea Market! January 17-18, 2026
This was our best show yet! We were set up at spot "Green 4", in the middle under the big tree in the middle of the park. There were hundreds of great vendors.
This was our 3rd time at this event, and I think this was the busiest it has ever been. It was an amazing show and I got to meet so many awesome fans. It was really great meeting everyone and seeing people's faces when they saw my art for the first time. One of you described my art as "the best photographer in Pompano and South Florida". THANK YOU! Special thanks to my wife Brittany and sister-in-law Ally for helping make the booth beautiful.
Lots of CBP was taken home: new prints, canvases, wine glasses, calendars, decals, notecards, the new magnets, and more goodies.
You can still bring home some CBP. Take measurements of that wall space and reach out and I can get a custom piece made just for you. Or if there was something small you wanted, reach out, I probably have it in stock and I can deliver local.
Can't wait for next year's show!
Robbie K. won the $500 gift card raffle! I posted the video on my Instagram/Facebook story. Thank you to everyone who participated. I wish everyone could win.
Thank you to everyone that came out and visited. Starting this 3 years ago, I never imagined where it would be now.

ART GALLERY AT MANATEE LAGOON - 2024-2025
My artwork was on display at Manatee Lagoon in the hallway to the upper observation deck in West Palm Beach from 2024-2025!
Manatee Lagoon is a non-profit created by FPL dedicated to educating the public about manatees and Lake Worth Lagoon, and inspiring communities to preserve and protect Florida’s environment and wildlife for future generations.
If you've never been, it's a great place to see manatees in the cooler months as they hug the FPL plant for warmer water. It's seriously cool, and it's free to visit. There's a huge area inside that is very informative about manatees with live fish tanks and interactive displays. Whether you're a little kid or an adult, it's an awesome place and you'll definitely learn something. You might also see sea turtles, eagle rays, fish and other aquatic creatures during your visit. Did I also mention that it is FREE to visit with free parking?

I was honored to have my work on display there! Thank you Lisa and team for this incredible opportunity!
NEW PELICAN NEWSPAPER COVER - 2024
Soaring Sea Turtle (Sea Turtle #2) was featured on the September 2024 cover of Pompano Beach's New Pelican Newspaper, with a great article about me and my recent gallery at the Sample-McDougald House written by Kristen Hernandez.
Thank you, New Pelican!
SAMPLE-MCDOUGALD HOUSE GALLERY - July 2024
My artwork was on display at the Historic Pompano Beach Sample-McDougald House from July to August 2024! This was my first ever gallery, and I honestly didn't know what to expect. I brought my best work and decorated the walls and hallways the best I could.
From the Pelican article: “The vivid colors bring life to the room,” said Lee Waldo, executive director at Sample-McDougald House. “They truly stand out in this space. Clarke brought elegance and glamor to this historic house.”
The official unveiling "Meet and Greet" night was on a hot summer Wednesday night in the dead of summer, July 17th. Only a few dozen people were likely expected. Instead, over 150 of you awesome people took time out of your day to visit with lots of new faces. We caused parking problems and traffic delays. We nearly ran out of beverages and hors d'oeuvres. The police actually stopped by at one point to find out what was going on. One of the employees told me there was more people there than they have when they have weddings. It was awesome! It was a great event with by far the largest ever turn out to an artist gallery at this historic home. Thank you to everyone that came to see the gallery and take home a little bit of CBP.
We also raffled off a 40x30 aluminum matte Hillsboro Lighthouse print, and congrats to Patty F. for winning! The raffle raised $525 that was donated to the historic museum.
Couldn't have turned out better! I hope to be back again one day. Thank you, Lee Waldo and team!
Fun fact: I planted a tree somewhere on this property when I was in 4th grade when the City first relocated the house to this location.
First art show, Pompano untapped - april 2023
The beginning!
We had no idea what to expect at our first art show. Only made a few 8x10 prints and a couple of canvases, but you all have loved the art since then. Made a few sales and met lots of new faces and lots of friends and family came out to support.
That first show gave us the confidence that we could do this. We poured all our resources into the next show and it has grown since then.
